NEWSFLASH: CNBC’s Jim Cramer Rejects Calls To Break Up Leading U.S. Companies
CNBC’s Jim Cramer last week rejected calls to break up America’s leading technology companies saying, “it’s insane that the government is targeting them.”
ā “After living through an era where the only thing America seemed to make right were toothpaste, deodorant, diapers, soda, movies, Iām actually proud that America dominates the tech industry.”
ā “Rather than trying to break them up into little pieces or prosecute them indefinitely, I think we should study what makes them special.”
ā “In any other developed country, these companies would be treated as national champions, treasures even.”
Cramer’s comments add to those from entrepreneurs, antitrust experts and small business advocates from across the political spectrum that have voiced their opposition to recently-introduced anti-tech legislation.
