As Digital Inflation Continues To Fall But Inflation Remains High, Policymakers Should Not Pass Anti-Tech Legislation That Would Raise Prices And Hurt Consumers

Digital inflation fell 0.7% in October, according to this month’s Adobe Digital Price Index (DPI). Inflation remained high in October, rising 0.4% according to this month’s Consumer Price Index (CPI). Inflation remains high and Americans continue to feel this squeeze in all sectors of the economy.

With inflation remaining high and as warnings of a global recession continue, now is not the time for Congress to pass anti-tech legislation that could cause a surge in consumer prices. Research shows that such a policy would risk greater harm to consumers and overall market competition.
